This story follows the adventure of Sam, and his baby sister, as he travels on a booster seat for the first time. When Mum, the driver, answers her mobile phone an accident is only avoided by the arrival of Danger Dec who forces the car to an abrupt stop.
Blue Ted, who isn’t strapped into the car, hits the windscreen, but the children are held safe in their car seats.
There are two safety messages in this story:
1. Being correctly strapped into the car holds you safe in the event of an emergency stop.
2. Hand held phones should not be used whilst driving.
